And as passionate as we are in our mission, we are as equally passionate about fostering a work environment that supports our employees’ own strengths and personal passions.Kalkomey is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our suite of Agency Tools and Applications, that help our Government Agency partners (Department of Fish & Wildlife, Department of Natural Resources, etc.) manage their outdoor education and recreational programs. We are looking for a candidate with a strong focus on user experience, a commitment to iterative learning and an innovative mindset. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping define the product strategy and roadmap, as well as driving the execution of key features and enhancements of our suite of Agency Tools. You will report directly to the Director of Product and work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, agency relations, and customer support to deliver a best-in-class product experience for our government agency partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product strategy, and roadmap for our suite of government Agency Tools
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (agency relations, sales, customer operations, etc.) to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to manage resources to execute deliverables according to roadmap deadlines.
  • Drive the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user analytics to measure product performance and identify areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product launches, marketing campaigns, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Over time, act as the subject matter expert on our suite of government agency tools and applications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer feedback, feature requests, and support escalations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience in product management roles, preferably in the B2B SaaS space
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and launching B2B or internal software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product and business decisions.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Google Analytics 4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and rally cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in high-performing and agile development environments.
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices, and proven track record of working closely with product designers to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
